CATHERINE
ROBEY
Catherine
was born and raised in Zambia (formerly Northern Rhodesia). Her
father (Chris Vivier) was a noted Professional Hunter in the mid-1900's
and she was raised in the family safari business. Catherine joined
her family in tented camps far from civilization where nightly visits
by lion and hyena seeking out the smells of bagged game animals
were normal.
As Catherine grew older, she developed a deep passion for fishing.
Catherine's father would cut roads deep into the bush in search
of lost rivers where the family would fish. Many happy days were
spent fishing in Kariba, along the might Zambezi River..
Catherine accompanied her father on many safaris and was taught
to shoot a rifle at an early age. Catherine is an avid angler, adventurer
and photographer. You will find many of her photographs in this
website.
Catherine has a lifetime of experiences to share - from tented camps
deep in the bush to extravagant chalets with chilled champagne.
Catherine hopes to share her knowledge with you and provide the
feminine touch.
Today, Catherine's family remains in the safari business.
Catherine hopes you will discover the magnificence of a country
that is her heartbeat!
