THORNY BUSH

Monwana Lodge is a four star superior, exclusive game lodge, consisting of six air conditioned luxury suites. The lodge is run in a friendly, homely atmosphere encouraging guests to relax and enjoy themselves.

Monwana Lodge is centrally located on the 12000ha Thornybush Game Reserve, on the banks of the seasonal Monwana River.

Monwana consists of six double rooms, including two family unit suites and a honeymoon suite. For your comfort all rooms are air-conditioned and have separate bath/shower and toilet facilities. Each unit has it's own private deck or patio over-looking the waterhole or bushveld, where you can enjoy a drink and watch the spectacular bird life or game wander by. All rooms are beautifully appointed with attention to detail. At the end of the day guests can return to their rooms and relax in comfort. All beds are fully netted and rooms are serviced daily.

An experienced ranger and tracker team, will lead you on a morning and evening game drive, tracking down the animals from the big five to the smallest of insects.. Game drives are on an open Land Rover, which will ensure the best possible game viewing experience.

KRUGER PARK

The world reknowned Kruger National Park in South Africa, is one of Africa's iconic safari areas where tourists are able to go and experience Africa under their own steam or with guides. The nearly 2 million hectares of unrivalled diversity of life provides some of the ultimate game viewing that South Africa has to offer. With an impressive 336 tree species, 49 fish species, 34 amphibian species, 114 reptile species, 507 bird species and 147 mammal species, one is guaranteed to experience the wilderness in it's true form.

The KNP camps, from north to south, are as follows:

Punda Maria
Being the most northern camp, it is the most convenient to explore the northern reaches of the Park. This camp offers 7 luxury safari tents, 18 bungalows and 4 three-bedded units.

Shingwedzi
Shingwedzi prodives accommodation for all budgets. From rustic huts to comfortable bungalows as well as the luxurious Rentmeester Guesthouse. The Inyathi restaurant provides chef prepared gourmet meals.

Mopani
The newest of all the KNP camps, the design was made to ensure the bungalows blended into the local Mopane veld. All the buildings were built from natural materials thus providing for a unique bushveld experience.

Letaba
situated on the sweeping bend of the Letaba river, this camp offers guest house, cottage, bungalow, hut or a furnished safari tent, as well as camping and caravan sites for your lodging.

Olifants
The best location in the KNP, Olifants Camp provides a panoramic window to the bushveld surrounding the camp. Two, 3 and 4 single-roomed thatched bungalows fitted with en-suite facilities and kitchenettes afford panoramic views and are often the most sought after in the Park.

Satara
The thrid biggest camp, a range of bungalows sleeping between 2 and 3 guests are available. Guests can also stay in the guest cottages with well equipped kitchens.

Skukuza
The largest and most commercial camp, it features a variety of accommodation options such as camp sites, 21 furnished safari tents, luxury bungalows, cottages and 4 luxury guesthouses. Pretoriuskop
The camp is also one of the oldest in the Kruger National Park and lodging ranges from fully equipped guesthouses to basic bungalows with just 2 beds and a basin.

Lower Sabie
A range of lodging options is available from a luxurious guesthouse to family cottages, huts, bungalows, safari tents and campsites. A recent addition to the camp are semi-luxury 2-bedded tents, positioned so as to secure intimate privacy for each one.

Berg-en-dal
Another camp that has been designed to blend into the local environment, this camp comprises of modern 6 bed family cottages, 2 and 3 bedded bungalows and 2 guest houses with multiple bedrooms.
